On this Memorial Day, we pause to remember the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. We honor not only their sacrifice, but also the families who carry their memory forward with strength and love. Because they were willing to serve, even without knowing if they would return, we continue to live in the hope and freedoms their bravery helped protect. Today, we remember with gratitude, humility, and deep respect.
We’ve gotten good at talking about integrity – but not always living it. What if character isn’t proven in what we say, but in what people experience from us? Especially when it costs us something. Especially when no one is watching. Especially in the spaces where we hold power.
